It can be a bit tricky to delete Google Pay history, as it does not allow users to delete transaction history easily. A conversation with transactions can be easily deleted, but deleting the actual transaction list is the tricky part. Google Pay doesn’t allow the deletion of transaction details from the app but it is possible to delete it from the Google account activity page. Follow the step-by-step procedure below to figure out how can you delete Google Pay history.
Steps on how to delete Google Pay transaction history:
Step 1: You need to open Google Chrome, then you have to write my.account.google.com and search. After that, it will redirect you towards Google Pay activity. Then, you need to tap data on the personalization.
Step 2: After that tap on ‘My Activity’ option.
Step 3: Select the three parallel lines (Top-left corner of the page)
Step 4: Then from ‘Google my activity’. Select ‘Delete activity by’ option.
Step 5: A new page will appear asking you to select the topic or product to delete.
Step 6: In ‘Delete by date’ option. You have to select ‘Day’ (For example: Today, yesterday, last 7 day, last 30 days an all time). If you want to delete all then select ‘All time’ option.
Step 7: After that, select date (For example: After 17th March, before 17th March)
Step 8: From ‘All products’, select the ‘Google Pay’ option.
Step 9: At last, tap on the ‘Delete’ option. A pop will appear ‘Before you delete’, Click on ‘OK’.
Step 10: Another pop up will appear asking you ‘Delete all of your Google pay activity?’. Scroll down and click on the ‘Delete’ option.
Step 11: After deleting, a new pop will appear asking you to ‘View controls’. Click on ‘Close’ option.
It takes up to 12 hours to delete transaction history.
